The PCE-AS 1 air sampler is a device for monitoring microbiological contamination. The air sampler is used in various production areas. The air sampler quantifies colonies of microorganisms in the pharmaceutical industry, food and beverage manufacturing, as well as in hospitals, the cosmetics industry, and environmental measurements. To analyze microbiological contamination, the air sampler uses standard Petri dishes that are inserted into the sampling head. In this way, the air sampler measures, based on the impact principle, by which microorganisms are directly launched onto a Petri dish filled with agar. This allows samples to be incubated directly on the air sampler plates. The easy-to-use, compact, and manageable design, as well as the LCD display with backlighting, make this equipment a user-friendly air sampler. Each of the parameters can be stored in one of the 99 memory spaces. It can store up to 2,000 values with date, time, and volume and later retrieve such values. This allows for easy reproducibility of the values. It also ensures that the air sampler stores up to 2,000 values. Another advantage of the air sampler is that it can freely adjust the volume: between 10 and 6,000 liters, and the test flow rate reaches 100 liters per minute. Finally, it is important to note that the air sampler is a portable device, which you can comfortably transport from one measurement location to another, thanks to its battery power and sturdy transport case; although you can also connect it to the mains via a cable.
