Wood moisture detector / for different classes of wood and construction materials / fast measurement without damaging the material
The PCE-WP24 wood moisture detector is an instrument for the quick and non-destructive detection of moisture in different classes of wood and is additionally suitable for determining moisture in construction materials. The measurement method used by this moisture detector is based on a dielectric constant and high frequency. Electromagnetic waves penetrate approximately 50 mm from the surface. The result value is an average at a depth of 50 mm. To obtain a value with the moisture detector, you must select the type of wood or construction material (you will find a list on the back of the device) and place the electrodes on the surface. The wood moisture detector is sent calibrated from the factory and is stable over the long term (due to its measurement method). Therefore, it does not need to be recalibrated.
- Easy to use - For rapid on-site measurement of the wood moisture (place it, press the button and read the value on the screen) - Does not cause damage to the material - Measurement depth approx. 50 mm - Switch for quick adjustment	- The result is displayed instantly on screen. - No preparation needed - 12.7 mm LCD screen - Use in adverse conditions - Battery status indication
