The PCE-OM 15 tachometer has the option of an external trigger. Additionally, this tachometer works with a 6500 K xenon bulb and a multiplication switch x2 and x½. A single flash from the tachometer illuminates the moving object for a brief moment. But if the succession of flashes is rapid, then the human eye processes the moments of illumination as a continuous image. The effect of the tachometer can be compared to a movie: The rapid succession of individual images forms a movement. This allows you to see with the handheld tachometer things that you could not detect optically. The microprocessor-controlled tachometer is powered by 230 V and is ideal for controlling revolutions in transmissions, motors, etc., and generally for maintenance and preventive inspection. It is not necessary to stop machinery and installations for them to be checked, thus saving time and money.
