In addition to cracks, the crack detector also records the temperature and humidity of the air. The Rissfox Mini crack detector owes its capability to a calibrated crack sensor, to the CMOSens® digital sensor for measuring temperature and humidity of the air, as well as to a RISC microcontroller. With this equipment, the crack detector achieves, in addition to high resolution for cracks (0.0025mm), also very high resolutions regarding temperature and humidity of the air (0.1 °C or 0.1 % H.r). The crack detector stores up to 64000 values, so that in combination with the integrated real-time clock, highly informative data records are generated. The query of the data records, as well as the configuration of the Rissfox Mini is done with the SoftFox software kit, compatible with all common operating systems. The quality and accuracy of the crack logger can be certified with optional calibration certificates. Thanks to these properties, the Rissfox Mini crack detector is particularly suitable for use in building control, damage analysis, monument protection, but also for tasks in research and development. Additionally, the application scope of the Rissfox Mini crack logger can be expanded by using several external sensors.
