The automotive gauge PCE-CT 5000 is an instrument for non-destructive measurement of coatings, such as lacquers, paints, etc. on ferrous metals, such as iron or steel, and non-ferrous metals. The wide range of the automotive gauge reaches up to 5000 µm. It can control both rubberized and plastic coatings, as well as fine lacquer coatings. The automotive gauge PCE-CT 5000 should be part of the basic equipment of any workshop, production room, or quality control of incoming and outgoing materials, or also to indicate repairs on vehicle bodywork. Thanks to its compact construction, its handling is simple and comfortable, as it only has a single button. Complicated adjustments are not necessary to perform an individual measurement. The PCE-CT 5000 recognizes the substrate and automatically changes the measurement mode.

The PCE-CT 5000 automotive meter is suitable for measuring on non-ferrous coatings, such as lacquers, plastics, chrome, copper, zinc, enamels, etc. on ferrous bases, and all insulating coatings, such as lacquers, plastics, enamels, paper, glass, rubber, etc. on non-ferrous bases, such as copper, aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and anodized aluminum.
