Luxmeter for quick light measurement

The PCE-172 lux meter is used for light measurement in industry, agriculture, and research. It is also used to determine lighting in workstations, window displays, and by designers. It complies with all Spanish and international regulations for this class of lux meters. The lux meter provides measurement results in Lux and FootCandle units. Note that 1 fc equals 10.70 lux. The device automatically detects the peak value when that value is held for a minimum of 10 µs. Thanks to the ability to select the measurement range, the PCE-172 lux meter becomes a high-precision instrument. The use is very simple. This lux meter can also be used by untrained personnel. However, it is always advisable to consider the prior conditions when measuring light. Thus, the distance and angle between the lux meter and the object to be measured should be fixed to obtain results with high reproducibility.
