The HI98115 is a pH meter with advanced functions for measuring pH in hydroponic nutrient solutions. The HI98115 is very simple to operate with all functions, including on/off and calibration performed with a single button. The HI98115 features a replaceable HI1271 pH electrode that can be changed when necessary without having to buy a new meter. The HI98115 comes with a carrying case and calibration solutions.

The HI98115 pH tester for hydroponics has been designed with many advanced features typically found in more expensive portable instrumentation. These features include automatic one or two-point calibration, automatic buffer recognition, calibrated buffer tags, stability indicator, low battery indicator, and selectable automatic shut-off.

Replaceable pH electrode - The supplied pH electrode gel HI1271 is 103 mm long and tapers to a diameter of 8 mm at the sensing tip. This narrow electrode easily fits into test tubes, vials, and other containers with small openings.
Automatic calibration - The HI98115 automatically calibrates to one or two points. Calibration buffers are automatically recognized and after calibration, the values of the buffers used are displayed on the screen as a label.
Stability indicator - An hourglass indicator is displayed on the LCD screen until a stable reading is obtained. Once a stabilized reading is achieved, the indicator disappears and a reading can be recorded.
Automatic shutdown - The counter can be set to automatically turn off after 8 minutes or 60 minutes to conserve battery life in case the meter is left on. The automatic shutdown function can be disabled.
Long-lasting battery - The HI98115 has an exceptional long-lasting battery life of approximately 1000 hours. When the battery power is low, a low battery indicator is displayed.
Plastic transport case - The HI98115 is supplied complete with the meter, probe tip, calibration solutions, and cleaning solutions provided in a sturdy plastic transport case.
