Photovoltaic meter / Evaluation of electrical power with the Greentest FTV 100 photovoltaic meter / calculation of the effectiveness degree for the photovoltaic module and the alternating regulator
Due to the increasing presence of photovoltaic installations, all professionals in this sector eventually need a simple, reliable, and precise control device. This is true for both manufacturers and maintenance technicians and control companies. Users of photovoltaic installations want to feed solar current into the grid in exchange for money, and depending on the performance level of the installation, they eventually recoup their investment. Each photovoltaic installation has a certain performance level. This reference value is indicated in the technical data sheet and should be checked periodically to ensure the installation is functioning well. If this value is not reached, it is a sign that there is an error in the photovoltaic installation. With the Greentest FTV 100 photovoltaic meter, you can not only check the performance level of the photovoltaic modules but also of the inverter. The greatest advantage: with the Greentest FTV 100 photovoltaic meter, these measurements can be performed simultaneously on 1, 2, or 3 modules connected in parallel. The Greentest FTV 100 photovoltaic meter is easy to operate. For safety reasons, the solar module must first be disconnected. Then, the user determines the inverter data from the type label. Next, if possible, the sensors for the physical parameters are connected: the temperature sensor for the panel and for the ambient temperature, as well as the sensor for incoming radiation. Finally, the clamp meters and the corresponding voltage inputs are attached. Before the actual measurement, the user configures the meter and enters the panel manufacturer's data. This data serves as a reference value to determine and control the performance level of the solar panel. All measurements are performed simultaneously: voltage, currents, power calculation, temperature measurement, etc. Depending on the type of installation, 1 or 3 clamp meters are needed. Therefore, there are two preconfigured versions of the Greentest FTV 100 photovoltaic meter: For measurements in larger installations, the Greentest FTV 10 photovoltaic meter has a remote measurement unit that records the measurement values on-site, for example on the roof, and transmits the data, at a distance of up to 100 m, wirelessly via Bluetooth or through a 15 m data cable with a 9 PIN RS-232 connector in real-time to the meter.
