The digital refractometer is a handheld, waterproof meter for determining glucose content with a measurement range of 0 ... 85 % by weight. The large LCD screen of the digital refractometer displays the measurement result and the temperature of the material to be measured. Glucose measurement is done quickly and easily with just two drops of the liquid sample. The funnel-shaped stainless steel ring protects the glass prism from mechanical damage and facilitates the application of the liquid sample. The digital refractometer is used from fruit collection and sorting to inspection and quality control. Other areas of use include ingredient control in the food industry under compliance with various regulations. The internal light source allows measurements to be taken under artificial light conditions without measurement errors.
