The digital refractometer for food is a compact, battery-powered, waterproof instrument that integrates the most important measurement magnitudes for food production. The large screen of the digital refractometer displays the measurement results along with the obtained temperature. Through a light source incorporated into the digital refractometer, errors in measurement caused by artificial light, such as fluorescent lamps, are eliminated, which occur in analog refractometers. The integrated crystal prism in the stainless steel measurement cell is easy to clean and is protected against mechanical damage. Depending on the chosen model of digital refractometer, it has two or three buttons available, allowing for intuitive handling, almost completely eliminating incorrect operation. The automatic disconnection turns off the digital refractometer after 3 minutes of inactivity, extending battery life.
