pH meter pH checker The HI98100 Plus Checker has been designed with many advanced features while maintaining the look and feel of the original inspector. The Plus checker now offers automatic one or two-point calibration, automatic buffer recognition, calibrated buffer tags, stability indicator, low battery indicator, and selectable auto-off. The Plus inspector still retains the iconic pentagon design with a probe that measures 103 mm long and tapered to a diameter of 8 mm, making it ideal for test tubes and bottles.

Large LCD screen - Enhanced LCD displaying the reading, stability indicator, low battery indicator labels, and calibration.
Replaceable pH electrode - The supplied pH electrode gel HI1271 is 103 mm long and tapers to a diameter of 8 mm at the sensing tip. This narrow electrode easily fits into test tubes, vials, and other containers with small openings.
Automatic Calibration - The Plus verifier automatically calibrates to one or two points. Calibration buffers are automatically recognized and after calibration, the values of the used buffers are displayed on the screen as a label.
Stability indicator - An hourglass indicator is displayed on the LCD screen until a stable reading is obtained. Once a stabilized reading is achieved, the indicator disappears and a reading can be recorded.
Automatic shutdown - The counter can be set to automatically turn off after 8 minutes or 60 minutes to conserve battery life in case the meter is left on. The automatic shutdown function can be disabled.
Long-lasting battery - The Inspector Plus has an exceptional long-lasting battery life of approximately 1000 hours. When the battery power is low, a low battery indicator is displayed.
Plastic case - The HI98100 Plus inspector is supplied complete with the meter, test probe, calibration solutions, and cleaning solutions packaged in a durable plastic carrying case.
