Cable detector for live and dead lines / for checking circuits and lines / locating short circuits and ground connections (in ground, concrete walls, and brick walls).

With the PCE-CL 10 cable detector, you can detect live lines up to 400 V in circuits and de-energized lines. The cable detector can locate cables, lines, circuits, short circuits, and ground connections, track protective tubes and coaxial cables. For this, it is not necessary to interrupt the power supply or turn off sensitive electronic components. The localization can be performed in the ground, concrete walls, and brick walls. The cable detection system consists of a signal generator for live and de-energized lines, as well as a receiver. The signal generator introduces high-frequency electromagnetic signals into the line. These signals are converted along the line by the receiver into acoustic and optical signals. The signal intensity is a pattern used for line localization. In the signal generator, you can adjust the signal power as well as the search channel. As this is also indicated on the receiver's display, it can work simultaneously with several transmitters without mutual interference.
