  • The SER 148 series allows for the quantitative separation of a substance or group of substances (e.g. fat) from a mixture of solids or semi-solids.

    The extraction is performed according to the Randall method, which operates in two phases plus one for the recovery of the distilled solvent, and allows for:

    - reduce extraction times (hot solvent).

    - safeguard atmospheric pollution

    - reduce the cost of analyses

    The instrument, designed to optimize manual operability, is equipped with a microprocessor that allows storing up to 29 operating programs; the parameters of each program will be developed sequentially, with continuous display of temperature and remaining time, simultaneously on two displays.

    The main fields of application include the analysis of food products, feed, detergents, rubber and plastic formulations, pharmaceuticals, soils, and, on the other hand, for the analysis of the content of soluble products such as fats, surfactants, plasticizers, and pesticides.

    SER 148/6, extractor at 6 positions

    The Hydrolysis Unit HU 6 is now available for performing acid and basic hydrolysis of food, prior to extraction with the SER148.
