The digital polarimeters of the P8000 series feature an innovative measurement principle for measuring optically active liquids. Our patented measurement technology works much faster than conventional polarimeters, reducing the measurement time to just one second, regardless of the sample's rotation angle. Additionally, it allows continuous measurement, for example, for kinetic research or HPLC use. All device settings are made via an easy-to-use touchscreen. An easy-to-understand help screen can be called up at any time. With minimal effort, the user can perform simple calibration via menus using quartz test. The T-models of the P8000 series are equipped with thermostat interfaces and the delivery includes an external PT31 thermostat. Connecting a controlled temperature measuring head allows for extremely precise measurement. The devices are designed for use in FDA-regulated sectors due to their compliance with GLP, integrated user management, and full network support, simply connecting to the laboratory environment and a LIMS. All internal data (measurement values, parameters, and methods) are organized in an SQL database. This can be accessed externally via SQL queries through a fixed interface (e.g., LIMS). With KrüssLab software, the device can be controlled remotely from a PC, using the same intuitive design as the touchscreen on the polarimeter. Measurement results are stored on the PC as a local copy of the database, so your data is retained after the polarimeter is turned off. Various data filters allow for sending data in Excel or HTML for the printer or exporting it in PDF format.
